Free webinar on May 25 2021: Applications of EC-SPR and SPRm Impedance
April 22, 2021
Biosensing Instrument will be hosting a free webinar in collaboration with California State University, Los Angeles and Admiral Instruments on May 25 2021, 9am LA / noon NY / 5pm London time.
Electrochemistry (EC) detection is a very powerful analytical method that has been used for a wide range of applications. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and SPR microscopy are label-free sensing techniques that utilize the excitation of electrons in a thin metal film to probe small changes occurring at the solid/solution interface. When they are combined with EC, novel applications can be developed. In this webinar, we will discuss how EC-SPR can quantitatively measure electrodeposited films and how EC-SPR microscopy is used to image the oxidation and reduction of single gold nanoparticles.
Learnings of this webinar:
- Introduce basic principles of EC
- Review fundamentals of SPR
- Dive into electrochemical characterization of electrodeposited thin films and nanoparticle surface structural dynamics applications
